There are no flowers needed over Lent or at Christmas as the crib is in the flower stand area. Her scenes draw the viewer in to a quiet. It is part of her body of work featuring a solitary subject. Sometimes there will be a particular colour that needs to predominate, and some weeks flowers are not needed if there is a wedding or special events. Leonora will talk you through how to claim expenses (and how much), introduce you to the others, and add you to the rota. If you would like to become one of our flower arrangers please let Leonora know on One of our most experienced flower arrangers has agreed to teach anyone who would like to join the flower arranger group where things are in the vestry, where to buy flowers from and, if needed, a quick lesson on how to arrange the flowers. Without them the church would look a good deal less beautiful so we can only thank them for their time and efforts! As you can see from the photographs they are quite spectacular. The beautiful flower displays in the church are created by volunteers who kindly give up part of their Friday or Saturday afternoons to put together these wonderful arrangements.
